During the history of curriculum development some curriculum models has been shown to be better at bringing about change and transformation than others. This paper takes a critical look at the Namibian Broad Curriculum and analyses whether in fact the model embarked upon is appropriate as a framework for the intended changes to the educational system as envisaged in policy documents after Independence
