We study an analytical model to evaluate the performance of the integration of streaming and data traffic in a multi-service network. This model is based on the performance of the M/G/1 Processor Sharing queue with time-varying capacity, for which we provide new and practical results. These results allow the definition of the region where the integration is useful and where the desired QoS is satisfied for both streaming and data traffic
