This paper describes a new course is being developed to teach Key Stage 2 and 3 mathematics with the aid of spreadsheets. The philosophy behind the course is introduced and an outline of the first few modules is given showing how the traditional order of presentation has been adjusted to allow the use of computers. Experience from trialing the modules developed so far appears to show the benefits of linking teaching of maths to practical work with spreadsheets and the enthusiasm generated in the pupils
