Videotaping has been used in areas such as acting and sports to help performers ana-lyze their abilities and perfect their skills. This technique can also be useful for practicing presentation skills in a foreign language. In addition to this primary use, teachers can also ar-chive best performances and use them as models for teaching future students. After presenting advice on the specifics of classroom videotaping for teachers unfamiliar with the process, this paper looks at some of the advantages of using video as role model and the kinds of presentation activities that can be modeled. It concludes by offering advice on video archiving
