Overcoming the barrier of traditions as they relate to teachers ’ beliefs about teaching practices and technology integration are difficult to overcome as these are held as a personal commodity. However, through careful, shared planning in how technology will be used to support educational goals, and by designing a collaborative staff development model that incorporates mentoring and reflection, former traditions can be merged with new expectations for technology use
