bstract e revisit the definition of regressions in eye tracking, aving found existing definitions, formulated within a eading paradigm, unsuitable for visual display assessment. he new definition is tested using eye movement data ecorded during a usability evaluation of two series of raph designs. The new definition gave a stronger result in he usability assessment than was obtained using the revious measure, and gave a result consistent with other ye movement usability metrics derived for the two series f graph designs.
