www.eat.lth.se/english The aim of this study was to investigate if and how a virtual reality-based methodology can be used to elicit knowledge about public transport accessibility for people with acquired brain injury (ABI). Four subjects with ABI and four occupational therapists made a bus trip in an immersive virtual environment. Their knowledge about public transport accessibility was elicited using the think aloud technique. All subjects managed to handle the VR methodology sufficiently well. The two subject groups tended to focus on different aspects of accessibility in public transport systems.
