The activity of the third year of the project focused on the development of hazard assessment methods for debris-flows and rockfalls. A multivariate statistical approach was applied to develop a predictive model of debris flow susceptibility. Outcomes of the analysis indicate that the model is capable of predicting, with a reliability of the 77%, which terrain units could be either affected by or free of landslides. The hazard methodology for rockfall is founded on the 3D physically based model STONE. that has been implemented during the Damocles project.
