Method: Neuropsychological tests were administered to 42 patients with schizo-phrenia or other psychosis to assess cog-nitive functioning, and the experience sampling method (a structured diary tech-nique assessing current context and mood in daily life) was used to assess 1) ap-praised subjective stress related to daily events and activities and 2) emotional re-action to these daily life stressors.
