This manuscript reports the results of a national survey of small businesses regarding their accountant's services. The results of the study indicate that accountants receive high marks for traditional accounting services and lower marks for non-accounting services. This demonstrates the need for accountants to adjust what they are doing if they are interested in providing the services small businesses could use if their accountants would provide them
