aims to increase the data rate in the downlink. It can provide peak data rates up to 10 Mbps. This is achieved by the introduction of new techniques such as Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC) and Hybrid Automatic Request (HARQ). A former study of HSDPA concerned its implementation and its performance over the AWGN channel and the multipaths channel. It has been proved that HSDPA shows good perfor-mance over both channels. Moreover, simulations in multipaths channel with the system simulator using Rake receiver requires a very long computing time because of iterative processing used in turbo decoding.
