Location Based Service for Restaurants

The paper describes architecture of a location based ser-vice; analyze the technical challenges in deployment, busi-ness, privacy and security issues. The location-based service described here is the one that provides a list of restaurants within a certain proximity to the mobile device user. The system has a restaurant ranking system which gives a rating based on users ’ recommendations. The analysis shows that a number of issues about the system that need to be under-stood and tackled in a satisfactory way for the service to be commercially successful
