The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT)- Accelerated Pavement Testing Facility (APTF) known as the INDOT/Purdue- APT or the “APT ” has been in operation since 1991. Several studies such as the Minimum Crushed Aggregate study (MCA), the National Pooled Fund Study (NPFS#176 Phase I) and the INDOT Warranty study were performed using the APT with different objectives in mind. However, the in-situ pavement performance was a common goal of these studies.
