Abstract — This review paper introduces DNA biosensor technology as it is applied to DNA sequencing, mutation sensing, and hybridization sensing. Following this classification, concrete examples of state-of-the-art DNA biosensors are introduced and reviewed as they apply to each of the three areas of DNA sensors. I.
