An Action Research approach was used thereby allowing all stakeholders ’ views to be taken into account using multiple methods (CiPeL, 2007) and allowing us to continuously cycle through processes of investigation that work towards practical and effective solutions. Using a Qualitative Interpretive Descriptive approach (Thorne et al., 2004), data were collected during focus groups with LTC care providers who make up the nursing care team (e.g., personal care attendants/personal support workers, registered practical nurses, registered nurses).
