ABSTRACT: The alternate current (ac) electrical conductivity of poly(vinyl alcohol)-polypyrrole-ferric chloride (PVA-PPy-FeCl3) composite films has been investigated at different temperatures at a frequency ranging from 20 Hz to 1 MHz. The electrical conductivity of the composite increased with increasing temperature and it obeys power law Aωs in which s in the range 0.3<s<0.7. Impedance spectroscopy analysis showed that the electrical conductivity is driven by a single conduction mechanism with a perfect of a single semicircle obtained for every sample. The direct current (dc) electrical conductivity increases with increasing temperature and would be attributed to high mobility of free charges (namely polarons and free ions) at highe...
