This work describes simulations used to investigate commonly used electric power transmission line models. Specifically, the paper focuses on the study of the line model behavior over non-fundamental frequencies and at varying loading conditions. Comparison among the distributed line model and three differently segmented models was made in terms of their performance, characterized through waveform propagation, including attenuation and phase shift. 1
