Salt reported that fat body cefls of the freeze-tolerant gall fly, Eurosta solidaginis (Diptera: Tephritidae) ' survive intracellular freezing. Using cryomicroscopy, intratellular freezing was observed at-4.6*0.1oC for cells in Grace'i media.
