TITLE: Widening Participation in Enterprise Education – an IDEAL Approach?

1. TOPIC: This paper outlines a project at Thames Valley University for widening the scope of enterprise education. This Innovative approach involves Developing the entrepreneur and their Enterprise start-up through Adapting HE course design and delivery with implications for Lifelong Learning (IDEAL). The learning experience includes an offer of two elective modules to all undergraduate and postgraduate students on all sites. New students may also use this as an entry point into HE with potential for progression onto a full award. The scheme provides incentives of bursaries and prizes to attract new student entrepreneurs.
