ABSTRACT. Using a technique of [2] we prove the the orem(CH +MC): Let X and Y be k-spaces with point countable closed k-networks. Then X x Y is sequential if and only if one of the three properties below holds: a) X and Y have point-countable bases. b) X or Y is locally compact. c) X and Yare locally kw-spaces
