The Xen Virtual Machine Monitor will soon be undergoing its third major release, and is ma-turing into a stable, secure, and full-featured virtualization solution for Linux and other op-erating systems. Xen has attracted consider-able development interest over the past year, and consequently the 3.0 release includes many exciting new features. This paper provides an overview of the major new features, includ-ing VM relocation, device driver isolation, sup-port for unmodified operating systems, and new hardware support for both x86/64 and IA-64 processors. 1 VM Relocatio
