This paper reports a novel radiation monitoring system able to monitor gamma and neutron radiation in an accel-erator tunnel in the nearest proximity of electronic com-ponents of the control system. The monitoring system is designed as an Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) mod-ule and it is dedicated for the Low Level Radio Frequency (LLRF) control system based on the Advanced Telecom-munication Computing Architecture (ATCA). The AMC module is able to communicate with the LLRF control sys-tem using both I2C interface defined by the Intelligent Plat-form Management Interface (IPMI) standard and PCI Ex-press.
