II. Narrative Approach

A survey of Christian approaches to Islamic people. The study will include the theological, contextual, Quranic, felt need, and narrative approaches. Key issues such as proper attitudes, spiritual warfare, servanthood, sensitivity to culture, and appropriate use of Scripture will be treated. COURSE OBJECTIVES Upon completion of the course the student should be able to: 1. Understand that there are a number of effective approaches to Muslims and the strengths and weaknesses of each. 2. Identify the sociological, biblical, and experiential reasons why each approach can be effective in the evangelization of Muslims. 3. Approach a Muslim with a presentation of the gospel that will be culturally sensitive, scripturally accurate, flexible, and led by the Holy Spirit
