the brain usually exhibit a benign clinical course, although occassionally they may be associated with mild to moderate symptomatology of uncertain origin. We report a case of an exceptionally aggressive capillary telangiectasia in a child, which was associated with progressive neurologic de-terioration resulting in death. Capillary malformations, or telangiectasias of the brain, are a distinct category of cerebral vas-cular malformations, consisting of localized collec-tions of multiple thin-walled vascular channels in-terposed between normal brain parenchyma (1, 2). Most capillary telangiectasias are discovered inci-dentally either at autopsy or on MR imaging, which suggests that they are usually clinically benign le-sions (3, 4)
