Abstract. In this article we review some recent results for an S-I-R type epdemic model which has extenal force as a source of infection. Our main concern is the existence, uniqueness and stability change for the nontrivial steady states of the model. We also briefly review an S-I-R model without extenal force at the beginning of the article. 0
