CreaTRIZ Systematic Creativity for Innovation: Access the world’s best problem solving strategies for any problem

The paper describes the revolutionary new systematic innovation method implementation, CreaTRIZ. The foundations of the method are built on the Russian-initiated Theory of Inventive Problem Solving, TRIZ. The paper explores how CreaTRIZ overcomes the fundamentally long learning curves traditionally experienced with TRIZ, and offers methods for defining and specifying problems in a manner that gives fundamentally more robust solutions. The paper examines the main underlying principles of the method and some of the its problem solving tools- the 40 currently known strategies for overcoming design contradictions, 78 Inventive Standards, 30 trends of technological evolution, the ‘ideality’, function and attribute analysis, problem explorer and other new tools- in the context of their potential role in defining and solving both technical and non-technical problem and opportunity situations.
