The Caribbean region is living through a number of events such as sea level rise and global climate change. The events are expects to a significant impact on food systems in the region. As a result there is a need for timely policy decisions on a regional basis with immediate effect in order to develop appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure the integrity of these sectors in the future
