This version is for internal use only! The aim of the present paper is to introduce the notion and basic properties of integrals as well as to show their importance. According to Buchberger’s didactic principle (see [1]) the computer algebra software Maple assists making easier the way of learning. The worksheet was written during my stay in Nijmegen under the supervision of A. H. M. Levelt. The procedures are free and can be obtained via e-mail from the author or by downloading from this site.
