Given the historical sensitivity of agriculture to climate, the uncertainty which exists and the economic and social importance of this sector, there is a strong need to improve our understanding of climate change impacts and the adaptability of the agri-food sector to these changes. Any impact of climate change on the environmental, economic or social aspect of a consumption or production activity will influence the impacts created by business. Developing a better understanding of this interconnectedness therefore becomes paramount.
