In this paper, we investigate the performance of Multicast-Enabled Landmark Ad-hoc Routing (denoted as M-LANMAR) protocol using a Linw; implementation as well as a QualNet simulation model. The main objectives are the validation of our implementation and the demonstration of the advantages of M-LANMAR. Using a L i n u implementation of ODMRP, we compare the performance ofM-LANMAR to that of ODMRP in a small-scale testbed. Through simulation, we show also the scalabilify of M-LANMAR to large networks. 1
