The essentials of the Hebrew of the Old Testament with an emphasis on grammar. Most of the basic grammar is covered in IA. This course along with IB will equip the student to begin to use the Hebrew language tools in exegesis of the Hebrew text. OBJECTIVES Upon the successful completion of this course the student should be able to: 1. Explain the basic grammatical features of the Hebrew language and pronounce it on sight. 2. Translate simple Biblical sentences using a lexicon
