Abstract Methods of the theory of nonautonomous dierential equations are used to study the extent to which the properties of local null controllability and local feedback stabiliz-ability are preserved when a control system with time{varying coecients is digitized, i.e., approximated by piecewise autonomous systems on small time subintervals.
