COLLABORATION IN STATISTICAL EDUCATION BY ACADEMIA AND OFFICIAL STATISTICAL ORGANIZATIONS (UKRAINE AS AN EXAMPLE)

In the last years the system of education in the field of statistics in Ukraine has undergone noticeable changes as a result of economic reforms. There are several changes in the institutional set up, in organization and methodology of official statistics. These changes have had a profound impact on the educational programs (curriculum) in statistics, the textbooks, the contents of lectures and practical exercises suggested to students at the seminars, more intensive use of modern information technologies in educational process. Methods of the study program analysis • The structure of the study program • Coverage analysis Coverage analysis of study program shows the distribution of learning hours over hierarchical structure of knowledge, skills or competences. The training of specialists of the Economic Statistics for the market economy is the important task for Ukraine now. Therefore content of teaching Economic Statistics has transition to the International Standards. It is necessary to use the specialities of Internet for it learning by universities experience of the world best practice. Otherwise we use the methodological recommendations of the international organisations of statistics by Internet. The speciality of the Ukrainian training of the specialists of economic statistics is that they are teaching the different subjects – SNA and Industry Statistics, Agriculture Statistics and others
