We present an idea for personalized document summariza-tion based on eye movement analysis. Therefore, we de-scribe a reading and skimming detection method and ex-amine several gaze-based measures for determining relevant passages while reading documents. Furthermore, we report the results of an eye tracking user study to examine the per-formance of the gaze-based measures in identifying relevant read document passages
