Providing quality of service in an ad hoc network is a challenging task. In this paper, we discuss a framework for user perceived quality of service in mobile ad hoc networks. In our framework, we try to aggregate the impact of various quality of service parameters. Our framework is flexible and has a provision of providing dynamic quality of service. Further, an application may adapt from the required quality of service to that which can readily be provided by the network under a stressful environment. Our framework may adapt to the QoS desired by a source based on user satisfaction
