Abstract:- Aerospace and automobile industry today is faced with intense market competition. Enterprise ability to customization, time to market and competitive price is recipe for wining markets. Two most common approaches taken by the enterprise to attain said objective are out sourcing of design, and effective reuse of their intellectual capital. In either case product lifecycle management is powerful enabler, that dictates for integrated information systems that cover all phases of lifecycle.
