The WebDB Prototype (Exam Registration and Student Responses on Quality of Lectures)

The prototype is internet application, which partially supports implementation of European Credit and Transfer System (ECTS) at University of Maribor, Faculty of organizational sciences. The goal of developed prototype is to enable services to the students over internet: registering exams, canceling exams, retrieving of received credit points and registered exams, printing temporary diploma supplement, entering and retrieving responses on quality of lectures and lecturers. All this can be done from any computer connected to the internet. With the prototype presented, all data will be up-to-date, and time needed for any of the procedures, will be shorter. Student responses on quality of lectures can be valuable information for the faculty management. Prototype provides security through Oracle database mechanisms. This means benefits for the university and also for the student.
