Abstract:- This paper describes the measurement fusion in a bio-reactor for its supervision. The participation of a process expert is introduced in order to interpret the clustering and classification results applied to measured signals. The application example consists in a yeast batch culture. The process situations are identified as the physiological states of batch procedure that reflect the transitions of the continuous system
