A previous bibliometric analysis has been reported in [1] and dealt with the all IEEE publications, available through the INSPEC database. Our objective was to see how the scientific contents were evolving over time, what relations might exist between journals and conferences, how the engineering disciplines were identified, etc. It was emphasized that the same study could be applied to specific journals, areas or societies and divisions.
