There have been numerous papers on the problems and man-agement of tuberculosis complicated by pregnancy but few reports on the use of streptomycin. In Watson’s ’ first case, the patient received two grams of streptomycin daily for 95 days during the second trimester of pregnancy. The diagnosis was progressive tuberculous Involvement of the left kidney. The second case re-ceived two grams of streptomycin for 90 days, also In the sec-ond trimester of pregnancy. The diagnosis was progressive, far advanced hematogenous pulmonary tuberculosis. Both patients showed improvement during and following streptomycin therapy, but their vestibular function was completely lost. Both delivered normal full term Infants.
