In the framework of the Italian Space Agency (ASI) call for scientific studies supporting PRISMA mission, a project concerning the development of a set of algorithms to pre-process PRISMA data/images has been proposed in order to improve the data quality through the joint use of the PRISMA panchromatic and hyperspectral data. The main objective was to exploit PRISMA capabilities deriving from its novel optical configuration, in which the panchromatic camera and the hyperspectral sensor share the same input optical system.
