International force standard machines provide ever increasing accuracy. As a result the requirements for the force transducers used for international comparison measurements are also rising [1]. The development of new force transducers shows that it is possible to reduce their measurement uncertainties. This paper describes the measuring bodies of these force transducers and the necessary selection method. The results of measurements obtained in force calibration machines and in force standard machines are presented.
