In the past few years, the use of Open Source Software (OSS) attracted a grow-ing number of users. The fast growth use of OSS increased the interest in studying the adoption of this kind of software. The goal of this paper is to analyze the different factors that potentially influence the adoption of an OSS. We identified factors related to quality (of the product, the process and the community) and the interaction between these factors. To achieve our analysis, we define a framework of quality in open source context. Then, we proposed an analysis based on a structured survey which shows that those software quality factors have significant effects on OSS adoption.
