Add to ORKGAbstract. One of the cornerstones of MDA is the specification and execution of model transformations. This paper proposes a practical ap-plication of MDA to the development of model transformations. This approach involves transforming instances of different transformation lan-guages with differing levels of abstraction in a PIM-PSM style. By means of two case studies, we discuss technical details and assess what possible gains it can offer in terms of productivity and maintainability.
