Abstract: The paper considers the stability problem of linear time-invariant continuous-time systems of fractional order, standard and positive, described by the state space model. Review of previous results is given and some new methods for sta-bility checking are presented. Considerations are illustrated by numerical examples and results of computer simulations. 1
