This work had as main objective to analyze features when several agents cooperate in innovation processes. This investigation intends to provide data on the existence of certain elements in Information Technology and Communication (ICT) companies when collaborate in product innovation. The results show different scenarios, companies that innovate alone, trend to the patent citation as a source of knowledge. And those who carry out more complex innovations go to the partnerships, the incorporation of human capital and non-patent citation
