Medline is just one of the specialty databases maintained by the United States National Library of Medicine and accessed through PubMed. Medline is indexed using the NLM controlled vocabulary, MeSH. MeSH is also the most efficient way to search Medline. The web access to Medline, PubMed is also a part of NCBI’s Entrez family of life science databases.
