In the regular Ad-Hoc or Infrastructures wireless LANs a single channel shared among nodes in the networks. Once the number of nodes in the system increases it causes the performance of the overall system to decrease. In this paper proposes a medium access control (MAC) protocol for ad hoc wireless networks (MMAC) that uses multiple channels.We can improve throughput with multiple channels because multiple transmissions can take place simultaneously without interfering each other. This proposed protocol uses N channel where N is independent of the number of nodes in the network.
