Expedition Runiphius II (1975)

Abstract. — A collection of Galatheid Crustaceans of the Rumphius Expedition to the Moluc-cas contains 61 specimens, distributed among 14 species. Most of the species prove to be typical reef-inhabitants. Range extensions are established for three species. A key to the littoral species of Galathea known from the eastern part of the East Indian Archipelago is presented. Commensal hosts are newly added to the previous records for three species. Variations of Allogalathea elegans are noted.
