In this paper, we present a platform that enables multiple people to interact naturally, using touch and gesture, with a large, high resolution display. The system provides a multi-faceted surface for data visualization and manipulation, multi-site communication, and collaborative work based on a shared view. We will discuss our initial findings in the area of large scale multi-user GUI design, as well as our future work on the platform and related applications
